How We Helped

Josie determined it was time for a new website that was easier to manage and showed offer her work better than her current static site. Gold referral partner Lauri Flaquer referred Josie to us and the rest as they say it history.

Specifically what we did for Josie was:

1. Built a customized WordPress website that was optimized for SEO and lead capture from the ground up. This also gave Josie a blog – yet another way to connect at a deeper level with customers, collectors and fans
2. Added custom functionality to make managing and showing her work as simple as uploading a few pictures and filling out a small form.
3. Showed her how to manage all aspects of her site so she was in full control of everything – no need to call us to manage any content on the site

I desperately needed a new website: the existing one had many challenges including image upload issues, outdated graphics, broken links, no blog and the cardinal sin in the website world – no easy way to contact me. Robert came highly recommended to me and I approached him with a grocery list of absolute must-haves and wish list items.

As an artist I needed a customized gallery to showcase my artwork and to make it easy to navigate through the various galleries. Robert worked patiently with me to design a new website that incorporated all of my absolutes and most of my wishes. He and his WordPress team went beyond the basics and developed a data base template that allows me to upload a single image and have it incorporated into multiple portfolios with a simple click of my mouse. And he did all of this quickly, accurately and in a no-nonsense manner.

The site is a breeze to maintain, looks professional and now when I upload my new work, clients easily view and purchase their favorite pieces immediately. The result has been a dramatic decrease in my cost of doing business, improved customer relationships and less stress. I can now concentrate on the activity I enjoy most, which is creating high quality works of art.

The coolest aspect of this; all of our meetings and logistical coordination was done via email and Skype.

Facebook Campaign Details

The Facebook campaign was fast paced. After performing research on all actors in the film we compiled the audience demographics, developed ad creative (copy and imagery), and launched the campaign.

Every 24 hours I logged into Facebook and adjusted the ad copy and demographics based on the latest insights.

The Facebook ads pointed to the Meeting Spencer Facebook Fan page that used the movie info splash image to greet visitors.

The Facebook campaign outperformed ad buys on LATimes.com and LAWeekly.com websites. Here are the raw numbers for the entire campaign which ran from April 16th to April 24th, the final day of the LA premier:

1. Total site visits: 1,207
2. 3 of the top 5 traffic sources were generated through our efforts: direct, Google Organic, and Facebook visits
3. 452 views of the preview posted on YouTube
4. Facebook campaign: less than $400 garnered 766 clicks (visits to the fan page) from 1,067,991 impressions for a cost per click (CPC) of $0.50 and a CPM of $0.36. A total of 7 ads were run.
5. Increased the like count on the Facebook page by 212%

How We Helped

Intranet Connections was already one of the top resources for all things Intranet online and was looking to increase their reach online on both Google.com and Google.ca. Specifically what we did was:

1. Audience-focused keyword research
2. Creation of 6 keyword rich resource pages optimized for the major terms our research discovered
3. Updated the blog navigation to keep people on the site longer and get to the resources they were looking for faster
4. Implemented an SEO link building strategy to increase the rankings of the pages we created in both the Google.com and Google.ca search engines
