When I had my first business providing IT services I was driving all over D.C., Maryland and Virginia. Being busy was great however frankly I suck at directions. My wife Kookkai reminds me of this quite often so I know it’s true :)

This is before Google Maps and iPhones came out, so before I would head to see my clients I would chart my course for the day and print out maps from MapQuest. This worked well unless there was construction or their map lead me nowhere, which happened too often back in the day. I still got lost.

My wife took pity on me and purchased a book of maps for me. I still got lost.

Then I invested in a Garmin GPS that would beep at me when I had an impending turn. I stopped getting lost.

Hi Robert, I love maps. I read them even when I'm not headed anywhere! Of course, having a map, blueprint, or GPS *is* useful when you know where you're headed and need a bit of direction. :) Well, at the invitation of Ileane, I've just joined your community and can say I'm pleased to be here. Looking forward to this journey and fun travels!

Hey Robert, Well said. I have but different times when the GPS itself gave me wrong directions (well, mine was to set to giving "shortest routes"). I am also glad that you wrote an eBook and made use of the points system to facilitate it. I am not yet on the 800s. I have to get those points and download your eBook :D Thanks anyways, for the post and for the eBook Jeevan Jacob John

Actually the last thing I bought was the Awesome Content Curation Theme that was reviewed by Mr Dempsey himself. I was so excited about the description I rushed right in and the p[ages were not even finished yet. Why was this old fossil so quick? I knew what the product could do based on wonderful personal results of Content Curation AND I have been impressed by the sincere follow up from Dempsey Marketing on questions. Sooooo..... I purchased an item regarding something I knew about, form a person I Knew Liked and Trusted... It is so simple to be in business with the right mindset!

Gosh, Robert, first you ask us why we buy stuff ... I admit I love to shop and then you toss out this incredibly tempting offer. I think I'm starting to really understand why you are successful!

That scheduling was a happy coincidence Barb :)

Barb, You are cracking me up. Love that you made this relationship. Very funny. It's so tempting isn't it?

Awesome, definitely worth spending points on. One question, when you "buy" it with the points, does it reduce the total points you have on the leaderboard?

Yes it does, so you may want to wait. But that's up to you and how much you can hustle Adam :)

Sounds like a great idea!!!

Hi Christine, Are you buying? Inquiring minds want to know...

As soon as I can, sure. :) I like the idea of having the advice all in one place.

I'm afraid to spend the points until I see what else he has in store for us. I'm super curious.

Thanks for the generous offer Robert. Not having a good sense of direction I can relate to getting lost! And having direction for my blog and business is a must, so not many points to go and I can consider this one :-) Patricia Perth Australia

This is a very tempting offer, Robert. From one who is always lost, this seems like a great deal. I have to think about points here and what the total effect of spending them will be. Definitely considering it....

Hmm, while I virtually never get lost on the road, I am pretty clueless when it comes to navigating the blogosphere. I do think I will wait a bit and see how well I can muddle through on my own... meanwhile, I am glad you have a GPS ;-)

JA, Your travels have brought you to the right place. Robert is a wealth of knowledge and shares all he knows. So happy to see you in the contest and gathering valuable knowledge. You're doing a great job on all accounts.
