Ameena Falchetto

I first met Ameena when we got into an argument on her blog about how useful a college education is for an entrepreneur. That was a fun argument that got us talking and turned us into friends. A happy ending all around!

In this first interview for the ongoing Entrepreneur Interview Series Ameena talks about her background, why she stopped working with large corporations and started her own business, and what she sees as the future for she and her clients.

Bringing The Most Awesome 3D Glasses To Market: Ingri:Dahl

Kine And Einy Paulsen IngriDahl

Kine And Einy Paulsen IngriDahl

After a trip to a 3D movie and yet another horrible experience using dirty, non-fitting 3D glasses (something we can all relate to), twin sisters Kine and Einy Paulsen knew they had found their opportunity. With entrepreneurship in the blood, the sisters founded Ingri:Dahl, with a mission to bring fashionable 3D glasses to theaters everywhere.

Hailing from Norway, the sisters have created one collection and are currently using Kickstarter.com to fund a Spring collection (get all the details here).

And did I mention they did this right out of college?

In this interview with Kine Paulsen (Einy is currently in Norway) we talk about what it’s like to bring a product to market, get it into stores, seek funding on Kickstarter, work with family, and much more. Please watch the video and then read my message below.

Help These Young Entrepreneurs Succeed

Check out the very fashionable 3D glasses that sisters Kine and Einy created for their company Ingri:Dahl, and help these young entrepreneurs by funding their next collection on Kickstarter.

In order to get all the funds that supporters have pledged Kine and Einy need to reach their $10,000 goal by January 27, 2012, which is why I’m posting their video now AND have pledged $50 for their Spring collection.

In the video you can tell the enthusiasm that Kine has for her business. She was stuck in traffic for hours trying to get back from a meeting to be on-time for our interview. She and her sister are making this happen, and they need our support. Won’t you help them?

I feel it’s extremely important to help young entrepreneurs make their businesses successful. Entrepreneurship has been the backbone of America for many, many years and on a global basis is creating much needed jobs.
