There is no doubt that writing a book is a great way to generate more business. However, many people have trouble starting.
In this video, I’ll show you how I got started writing my first Kindle book, and you can too.

Hi,
Have been thinking about writing a book for a long time. Never could find a way of how to do it. I always feel that it is a gift of God and not everybody’s cup of tea. The video was really helpful in understanding of at least how to begin. Thanks a lot for sharing this.
I agree that it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, however it’s not an impossible task. There’s also the ghost writer option.
And afterwards, if you want to have audio books made from your book, I recommend Michael Reece Voiceovers to do the voice part of your audiobook. His background is in radio broadcasting, writing, commercial productions and voiceovers. He has a fast turn around time too while being very professional. Here’s his link: http://michaelreecevoiceovers.com/
Is that your husband Allison? Always looking for great talent to work with. Thanks.
Hey Robert,
This is a bit eerie.
Just this week I released my first Kindle book – written with Scrivener (there’s also a Windows version).
That’s not the eerie part. This is – I mentioned you in it.
The book is about how to use Triberr. Here’s a quote from the chapter on Atomic Tribes:
From the point-of-view of a regular blogger and their readers, there are probably three reasons why someone might want to join your Atomic Tribe:
1. They think you write seriously great content
2. You offer a compelling incentive as “payment” for joining
3. They are your mother
While I can’t help you with points one or three, an interesting example of a compelling incentive is Robert Dempsey’s Atomic Tribe. Members of that tribe get a lot of free content – and we’re not just talking a free ebook here, we’re talking free webinars from a sharp marketer. You can see exactly what Robert offers on his Atomic Tribe landing page:
http://triberr.com/join/atomic?tid=31320
So now you’re famous at last
Good luck with your book – when is it out?
Congratulations on releasing your first Kindle book Caimin. That’s exciting! And a great topic. And thanks for talking about my atomic tribe. Of course, now I’m going to have to pick up a copy
As for my book, I should have it ready in a few weeks. I need to complete the bonus chapter and then get it edited. Add come cover art (in progress) and I’ll be ready to rock and roll.
Again, congrats on your book!
Robert, Your timing is perfect. I was just thinking about this topic yesterday and trying to figure out what methodology I might follow in writing a book. The strategy you laid out is easy to follow and and will help me focus my attention…maybe even start with an e-book. Thanks for the idea(s).
Great to hear it Maureen. If you get started, please let me know! Good luck.
